Artist Blacksmith Nic Westermann has been traditionally forging contemporary ironwork pieces since 1997. Nic's work distinctively synthesizes the fluid properties of hot forged iron with designs that capture the flowing, twisting forms that are abundant in nature.

He is particularly well known for his fine leaf work and attention to detail. Although he has recently been developing a range of green woodworking tools and are for sale here. The underlying aesthetic principle of all Nic's work, whether decorative or functional is that each piece should be beautiful to behold and pleasurable to handle.
