Another of my favourites- I have made this style of leaf for years but only recently have I concentrated on making specifc species of leaf- it is difficult to form the metal to exact shapes and the images represent the variation in size and shape I expect to get when forging  Willow leaves. They are very thin and delicate- weighing much less than a key.

Forged from square section pure iron, these leaves are formed completely at the anvil, no filling or grinding. These leaves can be used either as a pendant or key fob- pure iron is naturally rust resistant and will improve with age, I have one that has seen daily use for the last 10 years- the dark forge scale has gradually worn away revealing polished iron underneath. Supplied with a keyring. Finished in Beeswax
